We are taking applications now for the first players desiring to enter the world of Pernica.

You should be aware that initially Pernica may be a bit buggy and "small" and many desired features will not be implemented yet. Pernica is an ongoing development being run by a small business. Our initial release is what many companies might call a "beta", with one big difference - the accomplishments of your characters are permanent and won't be reset or forced to start over. We believe that what you might give up in "polish" you'll more than gain in depth and involvement.

Why should you participate in the initial release?

• You are helping to build the world. Unlike other games, Pernica is more society oriented. There is no "winning" or "losing". Players will develop their characters, gain position in society, gain wealth, gain skills and most of all influence the world they participate in.
• Those who join first will become the "elders" of Pernica. You'll have the advantage of being the first to participate and explore, thus you'll be richer and more experienced than those that join later.
• Because of our small size you'll find much more interaction with the NPCs of the world (no more boring static spawns with canned scripts only).

Is $25 per month too expensive? For some people, yes it might be. We are only looking for the dedicated players that desire the dynamic involvement that can only be provided by a low player per GM ratio. There are a lot of extremely profitable games available. We aren't looking to just collect your monthly payment, we are looking to provide a rich, in-depth society in which you can develop your characters. Currently Pernica is operating on a volunteer contribution basis. We get a lot of sign ups that never bother to even log in and try Pernica. So if you aren't interested enough to install and try Pernica please don't even send a sign up e-mail.
