From Wickenburg the Valorde Road begins at the road junction near the Wizard's Tower east of town. If coming from Hadren, take the right-hand road rather than turning left into Wickenburg town. The road loops around to the north-west for about 35 lengths, then runs almost due west for 400 lenths, just at the base of the escarpment that forms the north wall of the Vale of Wickenburg. As the escarpment ends and the Vale opens out beyond the town, the road curves northward and aims almost due north for almost 375 lengths, skirting to the left of a large wheat field.
After the wheat field the road angles to the north-east for another 150 lengths, then turns north for 80 lengths and passes two large black standing stones to the right side of the road. Between these two stones, the Valorca Trail East heads off to the north-east.
After the second great black stone, the road turns back to the north-west for 200 lengths, then bends again to the north and continues for about 300 lengths, turns again to the north-west for 300 lengths more, and finally bends north again at a goblin-skull marker post to run the final 400 lengths to the Valorde Crossroads in the middle of Valorde town.
