From the main Valorde Crossroads, the Valorde-Canth Road runs almost due east for about 600 lengths, to a point just north of the nearest approach to Lake Valorne. This small lake, teeming with delicious fish, cannot be seen from the road because it lies below a steep and stony drop in the land down to the lake basin. No doubt the plentiful fish help to explain why both orcs and goblins are frequently encountered along this Road, so travel armed and in groups when possible.
After running past the north shore of the lake, the Road twists about northward slightly, and after another 400 confusing lengths generally eastward, a sharp-eyed traveller may spot the Valorca Trail South running off downhill to the south from a particularly steep curve in the road.
After passing the trailhead to Valorca, the Road straightens out and runs due east for 1200 more long and weary lengths before another trail, the Untharin Abbey Trail, also branches off from the road to the south. This trail leads to the famed wilderness abbey where slain adventurers miraculously find themselves restored to life by the spiritual powers of Pernica, so careless travellers will become well-acquainted with the spot!
After this second trail-head, only 150 lengths of eastward travel remain before the Road suddenly turns almost due north and runs a final 150 lengths into the town of Canth. More sheep than people are rumored to live here, another possible explanation of the orcs and goblins found along the Road.
