Trail from the Canth-Clarion River Road to Canth East Tower

Hardly deserving the name of "Trail," this very short path runs a few steps steeply uphill from the Road; the Canth East Tower itself looms almost directly over the road. Its higher elevation on the hillside makes it look even more imposing than it actually is.

The Canth watchmen are almost always out on patrol in the nearby countryside, so the Tower itself is usually empty. However, it is clean, dry, strong and airy, and makes a fine place not only to take shelter from danger or the elements, but even to rest and camp for a night. The watchmen generally are glad of some company and may even share victuals with travellers--as a rule, mutton from the excellent Canth flocks.
