Delora's 29th Picnic
July 7, 2001

On the banks of the river in East Karana we held a picnic in honor of Delora's reaching "taxi status". Granitbrow's Beer Braised Bear won the cooking competition. Landun serenaded us with songs, but alas the cyclops and the giant Tarbul Earthstrider decided to crash the party. With the help of Kinna, Zormek,Wilye and the Swift Strike team we were victorious!

M'Lord Balar and Lady Delora,

Thank you for inviting me to your wonderful picnic. I am truly honoured to have been awarded the prize in the bake off. Although it is a pity there was no competition, I prefer to think of it as the competition knew they didn't stand a chance against my famous Beer Braised Bear. Father taught me the family recipe shortly before heading off for the war in Kithicor. Alas, he never returned to taste my version.

I've enclosed some quick sketches of our battle with Tarbul Earthstrider. What a glorious battle that was. The bards of Norrath will be retelling stories of the epic battle for years to come. He was a terrible foe to be sure, but again no match for the Light and our allies.
