Thanks to all who gave their feedback after the Freeport event.

You'll note below that we are now advertising more and more "mini-events".  These should help get everyone involved, and will help further the campaign.  If you're interested in running a mini-event, get in touch: you provide the organisation, we'll provide the plot.

The two mini-events listed here are based around ordinary hunting trips -- this shows how with a little effort everything we do can be worked into the ongoing story, making all our EQ play more meaningful and fun.

News from Freeport

EVENT REPORT -- for Sunday August 13 event, Freeport

The Forces of Darkness launched a titanic assault on the city of Freeport, Sunday, suffering huge losses.

Wave after wave of the Foe hurled themselves at our defenses and were cut down.  Captured officers said only that they had been ordered by Innoruuk to attack
the city, and would be "shown the path" by him on arrival.

Lord Morkano himself appeared outside the city, unleashing a terrible spell on Lady Safka that corrupted her heart and turned her against us!  Found weeping in the sewers long after the last of the Foe had departed, she is now returned to us, badly shaken, yet otherwise unhurt.

With no meaningful information available to us, it is a complete mystery what the Foe intended by this attack, and we are concerned that the entire assault was a mammoth distraction.  We still have no information on their plans in this city - yet we know they plan something!

Penetration of Befallen

Heartily fed up of knowing nothing of the Foe's plans, Lady Katlinel will lead a further assault on Befallen this Friday in an attempt to discover more about this cursed spell!

Entering alone, if necessary, she asks that any who can lend their assistance join her in this mission!

[OOC: This is a hunting mission, with plot, hence the levels recommendation.  FoD who wish to participate may form their own hunting party, and seek to prevent us.  FoL of higher levels are very welcome, but will be asked to remain ungrouped for xp reasons.]
 

The Halfling Spy

[Mini-event]

Daneni and Hecuva have discovered the identify of our spy in Neriak - a halfling hiding out in Nektulos Wood. It was this spy that tipped off Katlinel about the
meeting between the ambassador Jaelithe and the Lady Kyrisis.

Daneni and Hecuva's strategy is brutal and simple.  They will slay every halfling they encounter until our noble ally is forced to surrender!

Someone should really stop them!
