Q) Do I have to leave my guild?
A) No, do not think of these guilds as "guilds".  If you wish to participate in an event then obviously you have to temporarily switch guilds.  We recommend that you work with your guild to make it easy to get re-invited back.  There will be MANY officers of Light and Darkness available to invite you to Light or Darkness.

Q) Can I be looted?
A) No.  Verant's technical support gives out false answers to this and indicates that you can be looted in guildwar.  This is not true.  The Ambassador's Council has tested this and worked with our former guides to confirm that Verant's answer is incorrect.  If you die from guildwar you can NOT be looted.

Q) Will I lose experience for dying?
A) No, except for special cases.  During a guildwar you could be killed by an NPC and hence will lose experience.  Also we have found out that dying to a DoT spell does cause loss of exp (and thus DoT spells are now allowed only as a first attack).

Q) Which races are considered good and which evil?
A) Generally Trolls, Ogres and Dark Elves are considered evil, all others are considered good, with the exception of Humans and Erudin, who have small evil factions within their socieities.  However many players do not stick to the natural design of the races.  So feel free to play on either side with any race of character.

Q) Who are the commanders?  Who is in charge?
A) Balar is current leader of Forces of Light; Morkano is current leader of Forces of Darkness.  (see other pages for lists of the commanders)  This concept will mostly be overseen by the Ambassador's Council.  Individual commanders may be selected to be in charge of defense of a particular location (let us know if you are interested in one of these positions).

Q) I'm an officer, how do I invite someone?
A) Target the player and type /guildinvite

Q) I want to leave temporarily (or permanently), how do I do this?
A) Target yourself and type /guildremove

Q) An event is in progress and I want my friends invited, how do I do this?
A) During guildwar invites can not be done.  Please wait until the next cease fire.

Q) Will this be on Bristlebane only?
A) No, players on other servers have contacted me and are attempting to duplicate this concept.
