Scheduled Events
- Wednesdays - Quest Assistance Day - we are going to
try designating every Wednesday evening as a regular time to help
each other accomplish their quests. Currently scheduled quests
in need of assistance: none
- Wednesdays starting at 9 PM (Central) - Yasha, Byronne
& Rowien will be running an adventure every Wednesday (late)
evening.
Please send regular update e-mails to Balar.
Every time you increase in level or gain a significant change in
levels please send an update! Also make sure you send your biography
story (and update it when possible). If you have a recommendation
for a raid / event please send it also!

Version 1.53 is live, highlights:
- New dungeons added in each realm's frontier (Hall of Corrupt in Pennine
Mountains).
- New treasure drop system that varies the stats of items dropped to
make some "unique"
- High end leveling has been made a bit easier
- Less penalty for grouping with a wider range of levels

Tomb of Mithra - Acolyte Nascita has grown in strength and power.

Tepok's mine - The cave fishers, fisher hatchlings, and cave bear
cubs all have grown fat, lazy and non-aggressive after years of feasting
on hapless wounded players.

Catacombs of Cardova - New, faster, less damaging spears have been
issued to the infantry. Sorcerors scouting the dungeon happily report
that some moor boogeys appear to have wandered inside and set up a
nest.

We have been notified that our Internet line will be moved to the new
circuit on September 17th at 10:30 AM. Expect some downtime and then after
that we should be fairly reliable {smile}.

Public testing of Pernica is continuing well. New features are being

After a brief adventure to rescue Thali, the wedding proceeded beautifully.
It was a small group that gathered, but good friends willing to persevere
to insure a successful union of these two wonderful people.

We certainly must acknowledge Farlak's great accomplishments in the frontier
of this past week. Farlak
has made it as the 2nd
highest RP earning wizard for the past seven days. And is placed at
15th
overall top RP earner for the past seven days. Amazing Farlak!
Adiellyn (Army of Righteous Fury) has also accomplished feats of note.
In the past seven days she is ranked 14th among clerics for her efforts
for the realm!

Balar,
I was traveling through Darkness Falls last night when recruited to help
slay The Legion. The fight to there was long and was not really organized
but after an hour or so, we arrived to the massive area where the Legion
was protected by many of his servants. I thought you would like to see
some drawings of what I discovered on my trip there.
After the Legion was dead, we all gathered in Ludlow to lotto the items
off. A wizard staff was up for grabs and guess who won the lotto! I did!
The pain and frustration paid off as I have a staff of magnificent power!
I will model it for any that wish.

Balar,
With the help of my friends and guildmates we were able to successfully
find the Forgotten Emperor in his tomb and acquire the Staff of Enlightenment.
I am in great debt to those that helped; Raivyn, Katiebrie, Rif, and Kianer.
The Academy sends its regards as well. With the Staff in place I was able
to walk through the Arc of Summoning in Hadrian's wall and now the Academy
has the Tomb of Summoning back in its hands where it belongs. Morgana's
plans are foiled as far we know, but I will be in meetings with Master
Vismer to find out if anything more is needed in the future.

A note from Dixxon:
Balar,
Calling upon my friends and guildmates for help as it may be. I have been
at the Academy on several occasions to assist in helping my Arcane Masters
with their most trusted duties. Time has only been telling us at the Academy
that Morgana is up to her old tricks again and this time it is not to
be taken lightly. Master Vismer entrusted me with a sacred scroll that
will reveal to me the one that knows more about the problems that are
arising in the necromantic arts. After days of searching to find the tower
that sings to the east and to the west, I raised the scroll to join in
singing to the voices of the north. The spirits of the Lethantis tower
teleported me to Lady Nimue in Snowdonia for she is the "one"
that knows how to stop Morgana. Lady Nimue discussed several key points
of my mission to me and why Morgana must be stopped. I now seek the Staff
of Enlightenment that has been long lost in the Catacombs of Cornwall.
After several failed attempts to retrieve this staff, I call upon Elennar
to give me the strength in numbers that I might need to find this staff
hidden deep with the catacombs. Their numbers are great m'lord and any
assistance you might be able to give would be of great value to me and
to the Academy of Camelot. I await your response.

Version 1.52 is live, highlights:
- Everyone can do a full "respec". This wipe out all your
training and allows you to respend all your training points.
- Border Keeps have a bind stone
- Frontier Keeps have NPCs to give free speed buffs
- Level penalty removed for the probability to hit, thus you'll be able
to hit "purples" a lot easier.
- Hot key bars messed up, you'll need to remake your hot key bar.
- Armor tables changed (crushing damage is no longer the most powerful).
- /cancelstyle - you can now use this command to go back to the old
way styles work (just pound away on the style you want to do without
worrying about timing).
- Parrying and shield blocking should occur much more often.
- Scouts now get "camouflage" at level 30
- Mercenaries get "flurry" at level 30
- In RvR "mez" has a decreasing duration depending on how
far you are from the target of the spell.
- Sorcerers, Minstrels and Healers get a "clear mez" spell.
- Albion Horse Route: The route from Snowdonia Station to Caer Witrin
should no longer take an unnecessary detour to Castle Sauvage.
- RvR - Battlegrounds: You will no longer take faction hits from monsters
that are killed in the Battlegrounds.
- RvR - Battlegrounds: The strength of each of the battleground keep
doors has been adjusted downward (again) to be more appropriate for
the battlegrounds.
- Towers added to Odin's Gate, Hadrian's Wall and Emain.
- Crossbow bolts can now be crafted.
