Guild Goals / Ideals
Our guild emphasizes the encouragement of roleplaying. We strongly encourage in-character talk in both guild chat and open chat.
Thus if you are seeking phat lewt you should phrase it something like: "Greetings friends, I seek a powerful sword such that I can defend our Lady Delora better. Would any of you know a good location to seek such an item?" and not "hey, where can I get a Uber sword of destruction?".
Another example (for officer chat): Instead of "JoeTwink is a real idiot, I think we should boot him out of the guild" should be "JoeTwink has offended the honor of Lord Balar, our guild and our realm. I suggest we strip him of the honor of membership in our order."
Mythic officially supports players helping to level other players. We shall also encourage the training of others. Part of the game design is that all Albions should help defend the realm of Albion. Our guild will participate and encourage this, to this end all worthy adventurers should be as well equipped as possible. However this does not mean that power gamers or people looking to be "twinked" should join. Our officers and members are under strict instructions to only train those that show a strong guild spirit and strong roleplaying skills. Generally you will find our members putting an emphasis on the adventure and not on the loot to be obtained or rapid level gains. Many members will intentionally not level in order to retain grouping friendships.
